Review: HIMYM 606 - Baby Talk

For a second there we thought we’d get some Barney-Robin action going, but instead it was just Barney as we know and love him, hooking up with random chicks. For some reason, we prefer Barney and Robin in their flirtatious stages far more than when they actually get into a relationship.
Lily and Marshall are trying to make a baby again. Funny, but nothing groundbreaking there. Lily and Marshall’s aversions to certain names were understandable and funny.
Ted, in his classic style, is wooed by the neediness of an annoyingly immature girl who happens to be Robin’s new co-anchor. Ted SO would need to feel needed in a relationship. We were surprised when this led to a genuine heart-to-heart between Robin and Ted about their relationship.
Overall, good episode, but it won’t go down as a classic.
Hits:
“You can’t name a chubby white kid LeBron.”
“Who’s your mommy?”
Misses:
Was the Barney-Robin scene too forced and/or cheesy? Thoughts on that?
