We want to start out this post by saying this: why did it take us this long to recognize Victoria’s coolness?

Our thoughts:

• Victoria is awesome. Rewatching this episode, it occurred to us: despite whatever happened after this episode, Victoria in this episode is sooo cool. Her cartwheels, ability to comfort Robin, and the way she left Ted was just flat-out cool. We actually thought that Victoria might not be a bad candidate for the Mother.
• Robin has changed a lot from Season 1 to now. We like her muuuuch better now.
• Did anyone know that Robin’s station (MetroNews 1) was based on NY1, the 24-hour local news station?
• Did anyone catch the Star Wars reference in this episode? (Hint: Ted’s fake nickname to Victoria).

Verdict: although Victoria is awesome in this episode, if they saved Victoria’s awesome-ness for the Mother we would be happy campers.
