Review: Vampire Diaries 208 - Rose

First of all I have to ask: is it even possible for this show to be more amazing?  Everything is perfect about it.  The suspense, the love, the hate—all wrapped up into one amazing television show that is way too good for the CW.  Every episode of this show manages to make us fall in love with it so much more.

Hits:

  • The end of the episode! Even with a stake to the heart, Elijah is still alive.  We can’t wait to see what trouble he will stir up.
  • This whole “Originals” stuff is sounding a little too Twilight for us, since this is Vampire Diaries it definitely can handle an intricate plot-line and still making amazing.
  • We have been waiting two seasons for Damon’s confession and finally our wait is over. Boy did we fall in love with Damon all over again! Damon’s heart wrenching confession and his erasing Elena’s memory was better than expected.  Even though Damon might not think so, trust us, Damon definitely deserves Elena more (we live for Delena).
  • For a second there we thought that Bonnie and Jeremy were getting together and hopefully in later episodes we will be right.  Bonnie usual annoying tendencies seem to be completely gone when Jeremy is with her (we are little too biased when it comes to Elena’s perfect younger brother).
  • We definitely were not expecting any Caroline and Tyler interaction after the whole Damon threatening Caroline thing, but we have a feeling that there is only more to come.
  • Can’t believe we almost forgot: Vampire doppelganger curse?

Misses:

  • Like every other episode of Vampire Diaries this one was perfect.
