Somehow, we see Wilson as the person keeping this dynamic duo alive. If Wilson was anyone else, House would be friendless for all eternity. This friendship has survived House stealing (and forging) Wilson’s prescriptions, House being unable to save Wilson’s girlfriend from dying, and House’s general devil-may-care attitude. Throughout it all though, against all better judgement, this pair has remained friends.
